Najiib A. Farah Holds Talks With Northeast State Leaders on Somalia’s Electoral Process
LASANOD, Somalia
Abdimajid Abdilahi Farah, widely known as Najiib A. Farah, held a series of high-level political meetings in Lasanod with senior leaders of Northeast State, focusing on Somalia’s evolving political landscape and preparations for the country’s electoral process.
Farah, who serves as the Official Spokesperson of the Somali Society Party, met with H.E. Mohamed Abdi Ismail (Shiine) and H.E. Abdirashid Yusuf Jibril during the meetings.
The discussions centered on the progress of Somalia’s electoral process, including the need to accelerate preparations, strengthen political dialogue and encourage broader engagement among Somali political stakeholders.
The participants also exchanged views on the importance of peaceful political engagement and cooperation between Somalia’s political actors as the country moves toward its next electoral phase.
The meetings in Lasanod come amid wider national discussions over Somalia’s political future, electoral arrangements and the role of federal and regional stakeholders in advancing a stable democratic process.
Farah has been active in Somalia’s media and public affairs sector for several years. His previous roles include work as a journalist, Presidential Photographer at the Northeast State House, and Communications Director with Somali National Television (SNTV) in Northeast State of Somalia.
The Lasanod discussions highlight the continuing engagement between political figures and regional leaders as Somalia seeks to advance its electoral agenda through dialogue and political consultation.
